I feel I have learned a great deal during the 6 months of this course. Before I started I had no idea how to plan a lesson or deal with different types of students. Now I know I would be able to walk into a new class and confidently find out their skill level in order to teach them.
Although english is my mother tongue I’ve learned some grammar points that I never knew before and I’ve also refreshed those I’d previously learned. I’m a lot more confident in my own english ability and understanding of the language and can’t wait to begin teaching.
I plan to use my TEFL cert to gain experience teaching in my own country for the next two years. Afterwards I’ll have finished my college course and plan to use it to teach while I travel.
