So, what else is there to see in Corinth? There’s the ‘ancient’ Corinth, for starters. Corinth was one of the largest, wealthiest, most powerful and oldest cities of ancient Greece. Today, you can visit famous ruins, archeological sites and museums.
St. Paul’s Metropolitan Church - It was in Corinth that St. Paul preached and wrote his two letters to the Corinthians. A visit to St. Paul’s Metropolitan Church and the tribune from which St. Paul spoke to the people of Corinth is a must.
Acrocorinthos - the fortress is 575m high and its walls are a total of approximately 2,000m in length. The fortress was developed and maintained during the Byzantine, Roman, Turkish, and Venetian periods.
The Corinth Canal is a 6,343m gorge with 90m high walls linking the Corinthian and Saronic Gulfs. It is a maritime short cut that traces a straight line across the Isthmus of Corinth. Work on the canal began in 67AD but wasn’t completed until 1893.

We provide accommodation in Vrahati, a seaside village 20 minutes from the training center. The main house has three double and two single rooms, accommodating a total of eight people. There are two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, and a communal lounge. The whole house has wireless internet access. In addition to the balconies surrounding the house, there’s also a large garden furnished with chairs and sun beds and a barbeque. The rooms are cleaned and sheets are changed weekly.

It’s ten minutes’ walk from the beach. Vrahati has some excellent beaches, awarded with the European Union's Blue Flag, and is a busy resort in the summer. It's a center for nightlife, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars and night clubs, but still relatively unspoilt.
Other apartments in the area are rented according to demand, enabling all TESOL course trainees to make use of the facilities at the main house. Rooms in the main house are allocated on a first-come, first served basis, so we recommend you reserve your place as early as possible.
