Limerick is a city boasting a rich history, dating from at least the Viking settlement in 812. Limerick is home to some of Ireland's most famous historical attractions: King Johns Castle, Bunratty Castle, the Hunt Museum (located in the city centre) and St. Mary's Cathedral, Limerick's oldest building. The TEFL training centre in Limerick is located at the heart of Limerick City. The Limerick TEFL training centre has recently undergone a comprehensive renovation which has upgraded all of their facilities and services. Upon arrival students enter a bright and airy reception area. There is a spacious meeting room next to reception, where students and staff can meet the Academic Manager and the College Manager. The Limerick TEFL training centre also boasts a totally renovated canteen for students. This canteen contains a satellite TV, seating for students, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a microwave, shelving units and a sink. The canteen has been made as comfortable as possible to ensure that students have a relaxing and comfortable place to take a break between classes and also have access to hot and cold refreshments.

The TEFL training centre in Limerick has four classrooms, equipped with new desks and seating. These classrooms are fully heated and ventilated with whiteboards and in some cases access to multimedia such as projectors and power-point. The classroom sizes, like the class sizes in the TEFL centre are purposefully small so as to ensure that all students in the Limerick TEFL classes get the individual attention that they require and deserve.

The TEFL library is located on the third floor of the building. There are a number of computers with internet access in the library which are available for student use. The library is fully heated and ventilated and is available to students during college opening hours.

Private Accommodation

The least expensive way to spend four weeks in Limerick is in a private residence. You can expect to pay anywhere from €550 per month for a furnished two-bedroom apartment room.

TEFL course trainees can then share costs and have a private room, and shared kitchen/dining/bathroom for roughly €275 per month. If trainees prefer to live alone for the duration of the course, one bedroom apartments are also available, starting at around €100 per week. Larger houses are also available to rent to groups of trainees.

Hotel

The price of this type of accommodation depends on the type and rating of a hotel. Hotel accommodation is likely to cost between €30 per night and €80 per night depending on the hotel that you choose from.
