I liked this Unit. Very good learning technique using comparison and contrast. I think the Activate portion in the second lesson was too short. Also, I think the teacher should have made a distinction between real and imaginary, by first showing the image of a REAL animal and then his own creation of an IMAGINARY animal, so that students really understood the term â€˜imaginaryâ€™. The â€˜imaginary animalâ€™ is such a rich and fun technique, itâ€™s a pity that it did not play out. There was very little time left at the end of the class, but I would have had two Activate sessions, one using CAN and the other using CANâ€™T. I found question 19 difficult to answer. I was not able to discern the lesson structure.
