Classroom discipline is a big issue with the classes that I teach because most students are between the ages of six and eight. Most of them also have a very low understanding of English which makes them lose their concentration very easily. In addition we have certain students who are quite unruly and can have disruptive behaviour. Fortunately our school allows the teachers to kick the students out after a couple of warnings and when that happens, they get talked to by the manager of our school. The parents here give consent to the managers to discipline their children if they are not acting appropriately during class. This is a great help for us teachers as we can continue to focus on the teaching aspect and helps us maintain the flow of our lessons.
