In this unit, it's about conditional and reported speech, the different forms of conditional sentences and a few teaching ideas and also the differences between direct and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences used to speculate about what could happen, what might have happened and what we wish would happen. There are five main conditionals: zero conditional(it refers to actions and facts that are irrefutable), first conditional(it talks about a real situation in the future that is possible, probable or even certain), second conditional(communicates a present or future unreal, hypothetical situation that is presently not true and is unlikely ever to be true), third conditional(refers to a hypothetical past action and the hypothetical result) and mixed conditional(refers to a hypothetical past action or state, and the hypothetical present consequence). Reported speech(indirect speech) doesn't use quotation marks to enclose what the person said and it doesn't have to be word for word. Direct speech says exactly what someone has said.
