i believe that this unit is particularly important to help learners understand the basic structure of a sentence and how to form those sentences correctly.
It is potentially somewhat confusing for a lot of people but is a fundamental part of learning a new language. Without an understanding of what a verb, noun, adjective, definite article etc mean, a learner will not be able to completely comprehend and understand the new language they are learning.
For me this particular unit highlighted that these were things i knew, but had you'd asked me what type each word was in a sentence, I would not have been confident with my answer. As a native english speaker the grammar component is something you just know and don't necessarily remember learning.
This unit will be something I feel I will revisit regularly to make sure that it is sticking in my mind.
