This unit focuses on the different types of groups that teachers may encounter in their career, from different levels of students, to ages, to different uses (for example business English). From this, a teacher has to take special considerations in regards to the group they are teaching. For example, younger learners are often energetic, but with short attention spans, so lessons should be varied. However, when teaching clients at a company, a teacher may find many of the students quite tired from their day. Because of this, lessons may have to be less intensive and perhaps relatively easier to their ability.
