TESOL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Ema
Ema is from Slovenia and has recently finished the 120-hour course with ITTT. In this TEFL review video, Ema discusses how the course did a good job of combining the practical and theoretical side of English language teaching. Ema points out that teaching English requires the teacher to put a lot of their own work into the job and recommends this course as a good starting point.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit was about equipment and teaching aids that are usually found in a classroom and how they can be used. What I learned from this unit is what the uses, advantages and disadvantages, and guidelines are for each equipment. I also found out about many online resources and what they can provide. This unit was good in explaining modals and how they are supposed to be used. It properly explains how to use the active and passive form of verbs and how to form the passive voice of verbs properly. It explains relative clauses clearly and how they are used. It also explains phrasal verbs properly.I found this unit to be very informative as I learnt about the different motivations and behaviours of teaching a range of age groups. The unit was very descriptive and the video proved very useful in terms of understanding. I have defiantly taken notes regarding the roles that a teacher would take.
