Certificate of Teaching Practice Recognition (CTPR)

For nearly two decades ITTT has been at the forefront of providing high-quality TEFL/TESOL courses that can be studied in-class or online. As part of our commitment to offering the best possible training to our students we are constantly endeavoring to provide courses that meet the demands of the TEFL/TESOL industry. This has led us to develop a certificate of teaching practice recognition (CTPR).

Our 30-hour CTPR is aimed at potential teachers or qualified teachers who need to show employers that they have completed six hours of teaching practice. They will probably have already completed some form of TEFL or TESOL certification course. The unique benefit of the ITTT CTPR is that it can be completed without the need to attend one of our training centres.

How the CTPR works

You will have six months to complete the certification. Once you have finished successfully you will receive a 30-hour certificate which will reference your minimum of six hours of teaching practice. In addition to this certificate you will have created a portfolio of your work throughout the course. This portfolio will be useful in your future job applications as evidence of your teaching experience and abilities.

Participants will teach real English Language Learners (ELLs) over a range of student levels and topics. This will be done in the school or language centre of their choice and overseen by the staff at the school, completing a total of six one-hour lessons.

The CTPR program is priced at $US175.
