Once the lesson plan has been accepted, you will graduate from the course.
TESOL Course Aims
Our 120-hour course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the world of English language teaching. Once you have successfully completed this course, you should have developed a good understanding of English grammar, as well as learnt a variety of skills and techniques that will help you to design and present productive lessons in the classroom.
TESOL Course Content
The 120-hour course is divided into two main areas - teaching skills and language awareness. The teaching skills components provide details of the techniques and skills required by teachers in the classroom including teaching theories and methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning and how to test and evaluate your students’ progress. The language awareness components focus on grammar subjects such as the parts of speech and the English tense system, as well as other important subjects such as pronunciation.
This course consists of 20 units, carefully chosen and organized to ensure a gradual build up of knowledge whilst not overloading students with too much information at any one time. These units allow you to work through the course at a pace that suits your requirements.
