ITTT’s 120-hour TESOL certificate course is our most popular online course as it includes the full range of our high-quality materials and results in certification that is internationally recognized and welcomed by employers all over the world. The course’s many popular features include the ability to set your own study schedule so you can work at whatever pace you want. All our course graduates will also receive the benefit of ITTT’s unique career support services for 1 year.

Once you have completed the enrolment process, you will receive an email containing the details you will require to be able to log-in to your personal, restricted area of our online course system. When logged-in to the system you will have access to the course materials which you can choose to either study online or download to your own computer.

When you feel confident that you have fully absorbed the materials that accompany the first unit, your understanding of the information will be evaluated before you move on and study the following unit. Upon successfully completing all the course units, you will then be required to complete a final lesson planning task. This lesson plan will be submitted online for evaluation by a course tutor. Once the lesson plan has been accepted, you will graduate from the course.

TESOL Course Aims

Our 120-hour course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the world of English language teaching. Once you have successfully completed this course, you should have developed a good understanding of English grammar, as well as learnt a variety of skills and techniques that will help you to design and present productive lessons in the classroom.

TESOL Course Content

The 120-hour course is divided into two main areas - teaching skills and language awareness. The teaching skills components provide details of the techniques and skills required by teachers in the classroom including teaching theories and methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning and how to test and evaluate your students’ progress. The language awareness components focus on grammar subjects such as the parts of speech and the English tense system, as well as other important subjects such as pronunciation.

This course consists of 20 units, carefully chosen and organized to ensure a gradual build up of knowledge whilst not overloading students with too much information at any one time. These units allow you to work through the course at a pace that suits your requirements.
