This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was a review of English grammar. In the introduction of the unit, it is said that native speakers often use grammar and know rules without thinking of them. Often, I find I know the proper way to write a sentence or phrase, but cannot explain it is one way versus another. The unit states that there are many rules to English grammar that can help a non-native speaker make sense of English. Eight grammar points are discussed with their rules and exceptions. One thing I believe will be challenging for an English language learner is the number of exceptions to each rule. There are many subtleties to each rule and the use of each grammar point that may be challenging for someone with a very different native language.
