Unit 19 looks at special teaching groups such as beginners, individual students, young learners, business English learners and monolingual/multilingual classes. I have learned about the different categories of beginner students (the absolute beginner, the false beginner, the adult beginner, the young beginner and the beginner without the Roman alphabet) and how to deal with possible problems. I have also learned about suitable 1-1 activities for teaching individual students and some do's and don'ts for teaching children. The unit also covers information about teaching Business English and I have learned about the type of clients teachers are likely to meet and how to make a needs analysis form.
