This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
Reflection for Unit 16: Conditionals and Reported Speech Unit 16 covered conditionals and reported speech. The unit started by explaining the five conditionals: a) Zero (if/when + present tense, present tense); b) First (if + present simple, will); c) Second (if + past simple, would, could/might + base form); d) Third (if + past perfect, would/could/might + have + past participle); and e) Mixed (if + past perfect, would + base form). This material was very helpful to me. I needed to spend extra time studying the material and referring to previous lessons to help me fully understand the difference between each conditional. Next the unit covered direct and reported speech. I found the example teaching ideas relevant.
