TESOL Videos - lenin gonzalez
Lenin from the United States found our 120-hour TEFL course very helpful. He especially enjoyed looking into the grammar units and found the view from an English learner's point of view very interesting. He also found the units on lesson planning and classroom management very useful for his own future classroom.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
Unit 18 covers three grammar topics: modal verbs, passive voice and phrasal verbs. In each section, it is dedicated particular attention to the difficulties that both teachers and students might face with these subjects. In particular, if the toughness related to English modal verbs is understanding and explaining their many usages, the most difficult part of the passive voice is its structure. Speaking of phrasal verbs, it seems almost impossible to learn them only by using the memory. Providing lists of the most common phrasal verbs might be useful, but I believe the best way to acquire them is from real contests and real conversations.
