TESOL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - CORINTH | GREECE
In this TESOL review a group of international students describe their experience during their four week TESOL/TEFL course in Corinth, Greece. Having a TEFL/TESOL credential is a means of combining work and travel. Our intensive in-class TEFL certification courses last for four weeks in a variety of exciting locations around the world, and have a very practical emphasis.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
Unit 19 is about the different types of interest groups and types of classes that an EFL teacher may encounter in their career. This includes the types of beginners a teacher may encounter, which range from an absolute beginner to a beginner without a Roman alphabet, and beginners from different age groups, or beginners who have some exposure to the English language but didn't retain much of the language. The unit describes different expectations of teaching, such as expectations and needs for a 1-1 teacher/student teaching environment to a classroom environment. The unit also describes the age ranges that come with either the 1-1 teacher/student class or a larger classroom that contains either children or adult learners. The unit describes common challenges and expectations that may arise with either age group, and what to do to engage with the students, and also describes what may motivate the students to attend English classes so that the teacher can incorporate their motivational level with their teaching plan. The unit also describes students who learn Business English and how to teach their students in order to meet their career needs.
