In this unit i have been provided with a live example of how an effective lesson should be carried on. By watching both the videos i was able to differentiate the errors performed in the first lesson and how it was differently done in the second lesson . I have learnt that if a teacher follows ESA stages properly allowing students their right to an engage period where the teacher grabs their attention to the lesson they are about to have , then providing them the chance and material to practice their understanding in the study phase and finally a fun activity where they can more freely use their newly acquired language it would be a truly effective and successful lesson where students have gained proper language knowledge .
