The last unit guides us through how to cope with the first lesson and how to solve problems within a classroom. The theme has been brought up several times through out the course but this unit is dedicated to it. The most important thing to remember is that as soon as people step into a classroom is to establish rapport so everyone can feel comfortable. If everyone feels comfortable then it will be easier to learn. It is also important to remember that the students are people and every person is different. As stated in the unit, everyone has different kinds of needs whether it's about how they want to use the language, if they are weaker or stronger. But we must also consider the fact, especially if the teacher is dealing with younger students that are obligated to go to the teacher's class, that there might be students that have problems that does not have anything to do with your class. They could be about issues at home, psychological or disorders issues and so on. For a teacher who is new it is important to be hungry for information and study. I have learned a lot since I started this course. I have about 4 years of experience within the school world and have worked with all sorts of children ranging from age 6 to 15. This course have given me many things to think about and even though I am used to the school enviroment, learning about how things work with even older students was interesting.
