I do a lot of spelling in my classes in the forms forms of tests, but also crosswords and word searches. All the other exercises/activities that are presented are excellent ideas that I will definitely incorporate into my vocabulary exposure to my students. It is great to have a collection for each masterly level, whether they are beginners or intermediates or advanced. I wasn't too familiar with the idea of word interaction when teaching vocabulary, but will look to add that to my lessons. Also, in selection, the idea of fluency and coverage is something new to me as well, in that I don't usually think of it intentionally. I was forced to look up \"tentative\" when studying the section on Teaching Language Functions. I'm used to teaching formal and informal, but not so much tentative and technical. Teaching high school, especially when your exposure is to mostly native English language students lets you pass over the minute details of language learning that is so essential to ELL students The units are so valuable and a great reminder of those small details that make sure a difference non native English language learners.
