In this unit we saw all forms of the past tense and their various uses. It seems like these can be a bit trickier to seperate in terms of uses sometimes, for example past perfect continuous, and past continuous. Extra care will also have to be given to the many irregular verb forms. We also get some good possible activities to use in teaching this tense. Though maybe a bit more complicated, having a good idea of the relationships in time between several past events, is important in correctly understanding stories and events. This unit does a good job of trying to clarify these relationships through the different past tenses.
