In Unit 15 titled ?Evaluation and testing?, I learned about the different types of testing available to students by teachers. I learned that there are tutorials, evaluation by the students, and tests. The tests can consist of placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests, and general external examinations. Finally, I learned about the Cambridge Assessment and why someone would be interested in this type of test.This unit helped me understand the different methods of teaching and how to employ each method for effective teaching. There were numerous details for example, the Patchwork ESA lesson essentially highlights how to use Elicitation, Study and Activate alternatively according to the requirements of the students. I also appreciated advise on how to handle corrections and that an instructor should differentiate between errors and mistakes.
