This unit was interesting, and yet the most difficult for me thus far to understand. A lot of this unit focused on things I did not have much knowledge about such as phonemes, stressing words, intonation, and a couple other concepts that were interesting as well. Overall I would say I learned a lot in this unit, and could even spend a little more time practicing and understanding this specific unit material.This unit was en excellent overview of the advantages and disadvantages of a number of classroom management techniques. While I was familiar with many of these techniques from experience in my school years, it was helpful to see them from a teachers perspective. I enjoyed the list of different ways to make sure students stay engaged by minimizing teacher talk time, like avoiding jargon and keeping it simple.
