In this unit I was able to recognize and recap the differences between the present simple, the present continuous, the present perfect, and the present perfect continuous, along with when to use it - making it useful for me to explain to second language learners. The typical student errors/mistakes section allowed me to identify mistakes I will often see in the future and how to effectively correct them.I took a Grammar course a couple of years ago at University, and this brought back a flood of memories. English is an extremely tough language, and I can understand why it is so difficult for others to learn. As a native English speaker, we just grow up learning what is right and wrong, but don't think about the technical terms. It's interesting to revisit these 4 tenses to brush up on my proper grammar.
