In this unit I learned teaching straight arrow , patchwork, and boomerang ESA approach structures. I learned about ESA and vocabulary, grammar and functions. The ESA of Engage, Study, and Activate are vital to techniques in lessons. I also learned the four things that students need: being exposed, understand meaning, understand structure and to be able to practice and produce.This unit focused on the parts of speech. It included examples of each and even informed us of the most difficult parts of speech that we will cover in later units. This unit told us that it is okay to not be perfect at grammar in order to teach it. There was a lot of information in this unit and I appreciate that some of the more difficult parts of speech will be covered later.
