Lesson plan has its advantages and disadvantages.Firstly lets look at advantages-We can surpass language problems,conduct classes in a organized way,objectives of the lesson,student achievement and performance record.Looking into the disadvantages-Lessons become rigid,inflexible,teacher centered.Introduction of vocabulary,grammar requires lesson plan for better understanding.Lesson plan can be in the form of notes and logs.With this unit i have learnt how to set a proper learning environment for student-centred learning activities. This unit enables me to set a tone for the classes that is unpredictable, which helps to add to the fun and excitement of the class, but in a controlled yet relaxed atmosphere.
In addition, i will be able to maximize the student - teacher relationship whilst nurturing mutual respect between the students themselves.
