That's probably the unit I most liked so far. To analyse what you normally do automatically (which doesn't mean that you do it right!) was fascinating. As an example, I wasn't aware, how many question we actually end by falling (following the rise/fall pattern) - and I do it myself as well, but you always hear and tell others that questions are with rising voice at the end and if you read and you see a question mark, you should rise your voice, although it's definitely more the case with questions in a written context. When I started to learn English in High school, we learned right in the beginning the phonemic alphabet. But after a change of teachers, we didn't use it anymore, so I forgot a lot. The refresher and especially the part about where and how sounds are made was helpful.
