This unit covered many of the teaching tools that are available for use in the classroom. There are many and they can be used effectively also they can be used incorrectly. It is important to plan how the teaching tools will be used and why. It is also important with any electronic equipment to make sure that it is in working order and set up for use before the class as they tend to not work when least expected.Unit 14 taught me about course book and lesson materials. Be able to differentiate from authentic and created materials. Teacher can authentic material from songs, magazines, brochures and internet. Created materials can be supplemented from the course book such as puzzles, flash cards and picture stories. I've also learned about the 4 different options for course book use. Omit, replace, supplement, and adapt.
