I learned about specific groups of students that learn English and how to work with each of them. Some of the groups are young beginners and business English learners. With young learners, teachers must be aware that students have short attention spans and that they enjoy varied activities that capture their attention. They might not be as motivated as older learners, but they learn faster and absorb better because of their age. When teaching to business employees, teachers should find out their needs and interests. Teachers should then prepare a plan that focuses on those needs as much as possible, and if one student alone wants to work on a topic that no one else does, teachers should prepare an individual additional task to help them outside of class.
