This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This Unit focused on teaching conditionals. I thought it a very useful lesson as I have had both great success and great failure teaching conditionals. Using \"when\" instead of \"if\" has been particularly frustrating on occasion so it was nice to see everything written out simply, both form and usage, next to each other to compare. I also liked the reporting section of the unit. Again, very tricky to teach so good to see how others teach so adjustments can be made. This is one of those things that I have found easy to do personally (as in I can speak English fluently and can report well) but have trouble explaining the rules to others in an organized manner. I will definitely take a look at this guide the next time these subjects come up for me in classes.
