As the concluding chapter on grammar, it is fitting that the grammar is one of the most complex. While modals are fairly easy in present tense, they can be tricky in past tense. Not to mention, each word has several meanings and it may take context to understand which meaning is meant. Passive voice is a subtlety of English language that requires various forms. It is also important to note the effect of writing in passive voice. For instance, writers, such as myself, generally avoid passive voice because it can make writing less engaging. Finally, phrasal verbs. To be honest, I didn't understand the lesson when I first read it. Perhaps I've just had a long day, but I think it's a hard concept to grasp and should be slipped in naturally as suggested.
