Unit two covered an introduction to basic grammar and it's use. As a native English speaker I was surprised to see how much I already knew of grammar as common sense from years of using the language, and how much I didn't know or remember. Despite years in school learning grammar and proper use of the English language, there were quite a few aspects of basic grammar that I had forgotten or overlooked over time. After refreshing my memory through the unit I realized that there were, for the most part, aspects I used daily without realizing and took for granted. Thankfully my own speaking and grammatical skills as a native speaker are being put into use so that I may further my own understanding in the language and help to enable me to teach others.
