As with each unit thus far, unit 3 also provided a good introduction to teaching methods and techniques. It provides clear and solid examples of ESA lesson plans. After finishing this unit, I can confidently distinguish between the Engage, Study and Activate elements of a lesson plan. I look forward to later units that will build on this knowledge and help me in creating solid and effective lesson plans in my future teaching career.the content in this unit was very simple, well presented and easy to understand. The use of crosswords etc. made me understand the important teaching points concerning coursework, or created material very early. I have learnt the importance of mixing both coursework with authentic materials and critically reviewing coursebook chapters to ensure they are suitable and interesting to those being taught (age, level and nationality wise)
