In this unit we learned of the many uses of the future tense. I actually did not realize that the future tense had several different uses some of which we do not often use. It taught future simple,future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, going to future, present simple, and present continuous. Some of the tenses can easily get confused with each other in terms of its usage so it's important for the teacher to point out the specific uses for each structure so that the student may understand when it is appropriate to use specific wording. In the video and in the reading, there were example lesson plans given on how the teacher can teach each particular structure. Examples of study and activate activities were also given.
