This module gives detailed information of the importance of receptive skills and that receptive skills and productive skills are equally important. It clearly outlined the different reasons and motives for reading and listening into two categories with good examples. It was interesting to read about skimming and scanning as half the time you don't realise you do it.This was a very interesting unit. The two lessons was so different. You could see in the first lesson that the students did not understand the teacher and that they felt uncomfortable in his presence. But in the second lesson the student started to participate from the start of the lesson and they stayed interested in the lesson. The second lesson was a big success.
