This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This lesson covered classroom management. It talked about all the different factors that play a role in how well the students learn the material. One important thing I learned from this lesson was to make sure that you say a student's name at the end of a question instead of the beginning. If you say it at the beginning the rest of the students will stop listening since the question was not directed to them. This unit was quite difficult. I personally found it quite challenging to clearly differentiate between the three types of phrasal verbs. But the examples provided helped me greatly as I was able to see and relate it to the descriptions given together. The passive and active voices were interesting, being taught and learning properly about how the difference in structuring sentences can make a big difference.
