This chapter focuses on teaching pronunciation and includes some useful diagrams and explanations. English pronunciation and stresses are quite difficult with all the exceptions and words coming from other Germanic languages for ESL students of Asian countries. Usually using my own voice and other authentic sources as models are enough for them to copy, but natural stresses take a lot of quick understanding of the material and being able to pick out the important parts of a sentence to better convey messages.
I'm still deciding at what time and levels exact stress and pitches should be covered, but at least for pronunciation, I think it should be started as early as possible before facial muscles and muscle memory have developed.
