This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This was quite a helpful and interesting unit. Giving basic information about the different types of learners is always good as you as a teacher never knows where you may end up. You may plan to teach older learners, but may find yourself teaching younger learners as someone asked you to fill in for them or it was the only job you were able to get at that time. I specifically think what is said about the young learners is true, especially since I have been in various classrooms with young learners between the ages of 5 and 11. These learners need interesting, fun and short lessons otherwise they will be bored and seek attention throughout your whole lesson; as soon as you lose that learner it is difficult to regain their attention.
