This unit is extremely useful on a number of different levels. Even though the language institute where I am currently employed has its own syllabus, I am often required to add to that syllabus either as a whole or in frequent segments. Furthermore, as a private tutor I am constantly designing and upgrading courses to help my students achieve the best possible results. This unit has given me great insight into the avenues that I should generally pursue in order to design the best possible curriculum, especially if and when I decide to take on more young learners. From testing the students to analyzing their needs, all the way to the tips given on how to draft a post-course evaluation, I found this unit to be absolutely helpful.
