The unit delt very well with the students productive output the section on writing made it very clear for the teacher that writing is not an easy task for students. The reasons for communication were clearly outlined and gave me a new insight into engaging the students and the teachers role and importance in creating a desire and a need in students so they want to communicate with you. The difference between accuracy and fluency were very clearly shown and the link between the two were very clearly made accuracy provides the vocabulary and fluency gives them oppurtunity to use it accuracy being controlled and fluency being more creative in the use of language and therefor incouraging the students to want to learn more
