The video was very helpful with this lesson. The four examples of conditionals were clearly explained with examples provided. Once again tenses were part of the lesson reinforcing the fact that they can be reviewed numerous times as they are used throughout. Teaching one pattern of conditionals at a time is very sensible as it allows students to absorb the material before moving on to the next.After completing this section and test I am amazed how much more I grasped on the use of parts of speech that I did not realize. For example the test question on gerunds, I did understand that smoking was the changing of a noun into an other noun. I learned that it took a lot longer remembering the parts of speech than I thought and will have to give the students ample time to grasp this content.
