I think that the section that I learned most from was the maturation section. At first, I thought of maturation happens when getting older. In the text it talks about how there is a difference between getting older and becoming mature. It was interesting to read that maturation refers to the persons ability to process and understand more complicate topics. I am a kindergarten teacher of Korean 7 year old students. I think what was said is important for me to know when planning how to teach them a subject. I want to focus more on them speaking. I am going to think about making hand gestures. I want the kids to work on speaking more. Even if they are not old enough to understand some of the langague that I teach them.
