This unit is about identifying and understanding Conditionals and Reported speech. It explains what grammar is required when discussing conditional sentences. There are more conditional constructs than I was aware of so I have learned a lot on this unit in terms of which construct should be used in which circumstance. Also it covers direct speech and reported speech and the relative tenses required for the grammar to be correct.In this unit I learned about different techniques and methods for teaching new vocabulary items, grammatical structures, and language functions. The unit outlined the basic requirements for what a student should know about these, provided some selection guidelines and then outlined some possible lesson structures around them. The lesson structures referred back to the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) methodology I learned in Unit 3
