In this unit, i've learned that in teaching a new language, particularly vocabulary, grammar and language functions, there are varrious factors to be taken into consideration to that the lesson we give to our students would be a beneficial one. It is very interesting to know that a student sores a larger receptive vocabulary but isn't able to use as much as compared to the productive vocabulary.In this unit, teaching special groups,we have learnt that the teacher can have different groups of students. Individual students require a different kind of attention as would a group. A group with different language backgrounds requires a different approach than a group that comes from the same native language. The unit helps us understand these differences and gives us tools to deal with them.
