I liked this unit because in my profession, I have had to prepare students for these tests and had to learn about each external examining body as I went along. This study is very useful as now when a student comes to me with a desire to begin preparation for a particular test, I will know what the purpose behind their desire to take an exam is. It will guide my preparation a whole lot more.
Also, I did not know the difference between a placement and a diagnostic test. This study helped me to have a better understanding of these two concepts and what it means for the teaching and learning encounter. Overall, I enjoyed this unit.
