The videos show two contrasting teaching experiences. In the first video, the teacher is not trying to connect with his students. He doesn't memorize their name, speaks too fast and doesn't propose any pair or group activities. He attitude towards his students is condescending. There are no fun moments in the lesson.
In the second video, the teacher connects well with his students. At the beginning of the class, he introduces himself and learns his students' names. He speaks clearly, uses pictures, gestures and mime to elicit vocabulary. Two activate phases are taking place. The students are working in pairs. They participate more and laugh with their teacher. It's a productive and enjoyable lesson.
