In this unit, I had learned the importance of proper pronunciation of words in English as well as its intonation and stress. Knowing how to properly pronounce each word is a quite difficult with English since its pronunciation was not merely based on phonetic. Intonation, on the other hand, plays a vital role in delivering and conveying the emotions while delivering the message. I find the stress topic a bit confusing, but it takes a time to learn, but based on my experience dealing with stress is really difficult. Sometimes due to incorrect stress and intonation, people tend to misunderstand one another. As a whole, this unit is an eye opener for me not to take easily in dealing with these topics.
