This unit allowed me to examine the dynamics between teacher and student, student and student, and the relationships in the classroom overall. It showcased the benefits of individual, pair and whole-class grouping and how a classroom arrangement can facilitate better learning. This unit also demonstrated how management of a classroom/class largely depends on attention and talking time from both parties (students and instructor).This particular unit was a little more challenging for me to grasp. The phonetic script can take some time to get used to and comfortable with. It was by far the most interesting unit thus far. It reminds us of how intricate and involved speaking a language truly is. I enjoyed the various speaking exercises that showed the function of our mouths in the speaking of the English language. Language is such an involved activity!
