I thought this was by far the best unit yet as it used video materials to help convey the message. Videos made a nice change to the learning experience. What I take from this lesson is that the teacher's attitude and personality is everything to a lesson and really sets the mood and atmosphere for the students. It's important for the teacher to be engaged in order for the students to feel engaged and involved too.This unit gave an outline of what to expect and how to handle special groups, These special groups were categorized as young learners and English for a Special Purpose learners (ESP), like business english. The unit gave a guided overview of the general characteristics or each group and how to handle your lessons to cater to these groups. What I learned from this unit are the tips needed to cater to a ESP learner.
