This unit discussed past tenses: past simple, past perfect, past continuous, and past perfect continuous. I found this unit to be a bit harder than unit 4, that discussed present tenses. I did understand the structure of the sentences; however, it was the usages of each of the past tenses that baffled me. After reading through the material and watching the supporting video, I do feel that I have a better understanding of the usage of each tense. And, I feel more confident that, with the help of the teaching activities, I will be able to teach my students and give a better understanding of the grammar lesson.
