In this unit, I studied teaching special groups, including teaching beginners, individual students, children and learners of business English. It is important to note the advantages and disadvantages between teaching a monolingual class and a multilingual class and it typically depends on the location (i.e. multilingual class is usually taught in a country where English is the native language, whereas a monolingual class is usually taught in the students' home country). This is one key component that I had not seriously pondered closely, so it was good for me to learn about this while studying this unit.
